Kadhai mein tel garam karein. Usme jeera aur hing daal kar tadka lagayein. Aloo daalein aur halka sa bhun lein. 1–2 minute tak chalaate rahein. Ab usme haldi, lal mirch, dhaniya powder aur namak daal kar mix karein. Gas low kar dein aur dheere se phenta hua dahi daalein. (Bahut zaroori – warna dahi phat sakta hai) Lagatar chalate hue 2–3 minute pakayein. Thoda sa pani daal kar gravy bana lein aur 5 minute halki aanch par pakne dein. Last mein garam masala daal kar mix karein. Upar se hara dhaniya daal kar serve karein.
