Soak black lentils and kidney beans overnight in water.
Pressure cook soaked lentils with water and salt for 6-7 whistles until very soft.
Heat butter in a heavy-bottomed pan, add cumin seeds.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.
Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
Add tomato puree, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add the cooked lentils and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add garam masala, kasuri methi, and cream. Mix well.
Simmer for another 10 minutes until creamy. Garnish with coriander and serve with naan.
